Survivors include his wife, Linda Harrington Hicks Sykes; one daughter, Kimberly Sykes of Broken Arrow, Okla.; one son, Mark Alan Sykes of Broken Arrow, Okla.; two stepdaughters, Sarah Elaine Hicks and Shannon Elizabeth Hicks; two sisters, Sandra Simms and husband, Bobby, of Montgomery, Ala., and Sue Ann May of Houston, Texas; and one stepgrandchild, Jacob Gribble.
