G. Calvin Radcliff, 67, of Parkersburg, W.Va. passed away June 10, 2010 at Camden Clark Memorial Hospital from an extended illness.
He was born August 31, 1942, in Weston, W.Va., a son of the late George C. and Merle Smith Radcliff.
Calvin retired from Sheet Metal Local Union 33, owned and operated the Gun Ranch on Marrtown Road for 19 years and after retirement he worked at Carl's Pawn Shop. He has several different interests including hunting, fishing and enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Barbara (Fike) Radcliff, who he married September 25, 1962 at Clifton Forge, Va.; two daughters, Michelle Asbury and husband, Randy, and Leslie Hall and husband, Dave, both of Mineral Wells, W.Va.; granddaughter, Rene' Dawn Hall; step-grandson, Joshua Hall; sister, Mary Smith and husband, Jack, of Horner, W.Va.; two best friends, Keith Shockey and Carl Balderson Jr.; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, John C. Radcliff and James C. Radcliff; sister, Jean Henline; niece, Tammy Henline; and his in-laws, Earl and Sue Fike.
Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 13, at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, Pike St., south Parkersburg with Pastor Mark Watkins officiating. Interment will follow at Evergreen North Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 12, at the funeral home.
