AMERICAN LEGION NATIONAL COMMANDER
Milo was the son of Levi and Mary Ellen Brownsberger Warner and a Toledo, Ohio, attorney. He married Dorothy Bennett, and they had three children: Milo Jr., Donald, and Carolyn. On September 26,1940, he was elected National Commander of the American Legion at its convention in Boston. In 1941, he arrived in New York aboard the ship "Atlantic Clipper".
