He has two sisters, Sarah, Marilyn,(brother Fredrick deceased) and youngest brother Joe M. Franklin. I.C Franklin was named after his father, Isaac Chadwell Franklin Sr. Uncle Junior was called Junior all of his life, and loved it.
I.C. was in the United States Navy during WWII.
He became a cross country diesel truck driver for many years until he had a heart attack and had to retire.
I.C. was a little man but a proud man among people he knew and became friends with across the highways of this great nation that he so dearly loved. He never knew or met a stranger and always willing to lend a helping hand.
He was married to Lois Franklin (living)until his death in 1999. Together they had two daughters, Sharon Longacre (Eddie) and Becky Scritchfield (Dwayne), both married with children.
Because of Jr.'s continuous heart problems,
Uncle Jr. died within a year after his beloved mother Quixey Tyline Franklin passed away.
Junior as known to all of us within the family & friends loved his family, big trucks and a beer every now and then,& don't forget the yellow cheese, he was a dear soul, with a big heart, and we remember him always.
