Mrs. Mary F. Shipley, 79, New Lexington, died Thursday in Good Samaritan Medical Center after a six-month illness. She was born March 12, 1893, in Tennessee, the daughter of James and Lucinda Young Dumolt. Mrs. Shipley was a member of the First United Methodist Church in New Lexington.

Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Clarence (Florence) Goodlive of East Fultonham, Mrs. William (Norma) Yarger of Columbus and Mrs. Chalmers (Nancy June) Carr of New Lexington; two sons, Martin F. Shipley of Cambridge and Robert Shipley of New Lexington; 13 grandchildren; eight great- grandchildren; a brother, Vincent Dumolt of Kettering; four half-brothers, Ferdinand Dumolt of Clover Hill, John Dumolt of McLuney, Michael Dumolt of Somerset and Clarence Dumolt of New Lexington; two half-sisters, Mrs. Charles (Catherine) Keiner of Somerset and Mrs. Henry (Alice) Gilligan of Junction City. Her husband, Joshua, and two sons are deceased.

Services were held Sunday at the First United Methodist Church with Pastor J. Brooks Gregory officiating. Burial ws made in New Lexingnton Cemetery.
Friends were received at Chute Wiley Funeral Home, New Lexington.
