Harry W Brown, of Brown Station, was killed by his wagon being struck by an automobile on the Pennsylvania Avenue Bridge. He was taking produce to market at 2:05 am.

He was devoted to his family and was most happy in providing for their needs and comforts. His untimely death is greatly lamented. Pallbearers were: Allie O Beall, William Marr, William T Beall, Guy Clagett, Richard Bowie and Cameron DuPaul"
