Gladys F. Nickerson
KINGSTON – Gladys F. Nickerson, 87, formerly of Madison Avenue, died Tuesday at Kingston Hospital.
She was a graduate of State College for Teachers at Albany. Miss Nickerson was employed as a teacher at the Kingston High School until her retirement in 1972.
She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Kingston and the Delta Kappa Gamma Society.
Born July 1, 1908, she was the daughter of Wilmer S. and Marie Streeter Nickerson.
Survivors include two cousins Ruth E. Nickerson of Freeport, L.I., and Louise Nickerson of Saugerties.
The funeral will be 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Keyser Funeral Service, Kingston Chapel, Albany and Manor Avenues. The Rev. Howard Smith, pastor of the First Presbyterian Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Montrepose Cemetery.
