Died In the Night.

The Grim Destroyer Comes Suddenly to Lincoln Hockett.

Lincoln Woodruff Hockett, son of P.V. Hockett, of this city, died at his home in Sycamore Sunday morning at 1:30. His death ws sudden due to heart trouble. Mrs. Hocckett awoke in the night to find her husband dying and before a doctor could be summoned he was dead. He had not been strong for some time but had been feeling unusally well, and was in the city Saturday in company with his wife, and three children engaged in the regular Saturday trading. His oldest daughter, Miss Stella had remained for the night at the home of his brother, Mr. Milton Hockett. He had expected leaving for Portland this morning.

The funeral will be held this afternoon at 4 p.m. at the Friends church, Rev. Lindley having charge of the service. The interment will be at Mount Hope cemetery.

Mrs. Mary A. Andrews, of Siloam Springs, Arkansas, Wm. T. Hockett, of Larned, Kansas, and Messrs, Albert, Henry and Oliver Hockett, of Niotaze, were in the city today to be present at the funeral of their brother.
