Mrs. Alma J. (Heffelinger) Jenco, 87, formerly of W. Ridge St., Lansford, died Tuesday, June 22, 2010, at St. Luke's Miners Memorial Medical Center, Coaldale. She was the widow of Matthew Jenco, who died in 1958.
Born in Lansford, she was a daughter of the late Emmett and Bertha (Stoudt) Heffelfinger.
A 1940 graduate of Lansford High School, Alma worked as a sewing machine operator for various textile operations in Lansford.
Surviving are three step-daughters; nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by brothers, LeRoy, Wilbur and Francis Heffelfinger; and sisters, Irene and Evelyn Heffelfinger.
Service: Graveside at the Grand Army Cemetery, Summit Hill, on Saturday, June 26, 2010, with the Rev. Marjorie Keiter officiating.
