Mrs. Jennie Lee, aged 75, of Newark, widow of the late Lorrimer Lee, died Friday night, Sept. 18, at 10:50 o'clock at St. Joseph's Hospital after a week's illness.

Mrs. Lee was born in Doddridge County, a daughter of Daniel and Nancy Douglas Hudkins. With her husband and family she moved to Newark, Wirt County, about 30 years ago where she has since resided. She was a member of the Newark Baptist Church.

Surviving are two sons, Leland, of Newark, and Leslie F., of Parkersburg; four sisters, Mrs. Sarah Knight, of Athens, Ohio; Mrs. Etta Cunningham and Misses Jane and Barbara Hudkins, of West Union; two brothers, Oliver Hudkins, Santa Barbara, Calif., and Wesley Hudkins, Long Beach, California; and two grandchildren, Everett Lee of Fairmont and Jean Lee at home.

The funeral services were conducted from the Newark Baptist Church, Sunday afternoon, Sept. 20th, with Rev. A.F. Monroe officiating. Interment was made in the Fought cemetery.
