Joseph E. Truhlar, 95, Lorraine, died Sat.,Mar. 31,2012,in Ellsworth. Joe was born Nov.6,1916, in Trivoli Twp.,Ellsworth Co. to Stephen and Marie(Batista) Truhlar. He was a member of the Lorraine Baptist Church where he had been a deacon and Sunday School teacher. He was a retired farmer and stockman and enjoyed reading and fishing.
On Aug. 8,1945, he married Ellen Steinberg in Lorraine. She preceded him in death, Mar.23,2000. He was also preceded by his son, Larry Suiter, Sep.4,2010, eught brothers, Frank, Lee, Steve, Joe, Bill, Emile, Edward and Charles; and three sisters, Bessie Kafka, Josie Bell and Georgie Howard.
He is survived by his brother, Buddy Truhlar, daughter-in-law, Rosy Suiter;granddaughter Diana Watson;grandson Thomas (Michelle)Suiter.
