Funeral for Katie Marbin Mitchell, 73, of 601 Seventh Ave. SW will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at Brown Service Funeral Home with the Rev. Billy Cagle and the Rev. Malcolm Larkin officiating.
Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery.
Mrs. Mitchell died Monday at her residence.
She is survived by one son, John Roberts Mitchell of Minneapolis, one daughter, Mary Kate Cooper of Decatur; one brother, Edward H. Thompson of Louisville, Ky.; one sister Nancy Holloway of Decatur; and four grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Michael Cooper, Kenny Holloway, Marty Holloway, Richard Batchelor, Charles Wright and Jack Derrick.
