BENDERSVILLE: On last Wednesday afternoon B. B. Hardy went to the corn field, a short distance from his home, for the purpose of busking corn, and after husking quite a few ears he suddenly fell over unconscious and lay there from 2 p.m. until 5 p.m., when the family became uneasy about his long absence, began to search. When found his body was partially frozen. He was hastily taken home, wherall effects to bring him to consciousness proved unyielding and he died the following morning. Mr. Hardy has been a resident of this place for quite a long time. He served on the town council and one of the members of the school board the past two years, and was also president of the Board of Health. Mr. Hardy's remains were buried by the I. O. O. F., of this place, of which he was a member and at the time of his death District Deputy, at the Friends' grave yard in Flora Dale. He was aged 68 years, 2 Months and 10 days. (SS)
