Natalie Else (Gerler) Dreyer of Frohna, died Sunday, June 24, 2001 at Perry County Nursing Home in Perryville. She was 95.
She was born Jan. 14, 1906 in Ridge, the daughter of the late Hermann C. and Helene Otilie
(Boehme) Gerler. She was married Nov. 27, 1924 to Martin H. Dreyer, who preceded her in
death Oct. 24, 1991.
Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Rudy (Rose) Dreyer and Edgar (Della)
Dreyer, all of Frohna; two daughters and sons-in-law, Arlene (LeRoy) Hoehn of Crosstown and Marilyn Groh of Oklahoma City, Okla.; one brother, Rudy Gerler of Cape Girardeau; two sisters-in-law, Myrtle Petzoldt and Marie Gerler Wachter; 14 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren;
and four great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; one daughter, Irene Elsa Dreyer; two
brothers, Bernhard "Leo" Gerler and Erhardt Gerler; and two great-grandsons.
Mrs. Dreyer was a homemaker. She was a member of Concordia Lutheran Church and
Ladies Aid. She was church custodian for many years.
The family prefers memorials to be made to Concordia Lutheran Church Remodeling
Fund or Saxony Lutheran High School.
Visitation will be 5-9 p.m. today, Tuesday, June 26 and again between 6:30-8 a.m.
Wednesday, June 27 at Young & Sons East Perry Chapel. The funeral service will be at 10 a.m.
Wednesday, June 27 at Concordia Lutheran Church in Frohna with the Rev. Wayne Palmer officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
