Miss Lewis, 91, died July 18, 2001, at King's Daughters Medical Center. She was born in Lincoln County on March 28, 1910, to Dallas A. Lewis and Maggie Smith Lewis.
She was a teacher at Enterprise School. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
Preceding her in death were her parents.
Survivors are her brother, Ellzey Lee Lewis of Brookhaven; and her sister, Wadie J. Garner of Brookhaven.
