Corporal, 321st Machine Gun Battalion, 82nd Division, American Expeditionary Forces, World War I. His unit was operating in the vicinity of Saint-Juvin when he was killed in action; his body was not recovered from the battlefield.
He is also remembered on the Tablets of the Missing at the Meuse-Argonne American Cemetery, Romagne-sous-Montfaucon, Departement de la Meuse, Lorraine, France. See Find A Grave memorial 55955947.
