William C. Akers, 90, of 49 West 3rd Ave., Everett, PA., died Nov. 26, 1962, at his home.
He was born May 3, 1872, in Monroe Twp., the son of the late Jobe and Sarah (Barton) Akers. He was married to the former Clara Conner on April 22, 1896. She survives along with these five children: Elmer R., Flint, Michigan; Lewis O., Ann Arbor, Mich.; Mrs. Mae Bloom, Everett; Carl, Polk, and James A. of Kalamazoo, Mich. Also surviving are six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
He was a member of the Barndollar Methodist Church.
Funeral services: Thursday, Nov. 29, at 11 a.m., at the Conner Funeral Home, the Rev. Reyburn Fritz officiating. Interment in the Everett cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 p.m. Tuesday.
