YORTOWN - Hazel Bronnenberg, 101, resident of Yorktown, passed away August 24, 2004 in Yorktown after an extended illness. She had lived in the Daleville/Yorktown area for over 70 years.
She was born in Anderson, Indiana, June 25, 1903 and had been a line supervisor for Indiana Bell Telephone for may years retiring in 1968.
She was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America and the Daleville United Methodist Church.
Survivors include a daughter in law: Enid Bronnenberg of Daleville, Grandsons, John (Rhonda) Bronnenberg of Yorktown and Dan (Nancy) Bronnenberg of Daleville, Special nephew: Robert (Lois) Bronnenberg of Yorktown and many friends and staff members at Washington House at Heritage Commons.
She was preceded in death by her husband George in 1974, Son: Wilmer in 2003 and a brother: Bud.
Funeral services will be held on Friday at 10:00 am at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 8212 South Walnut Street in Daleville with Pastor Karen Ottjes officiating.
Burial will follow at Bronnenberg Cemetery in Chesterfied.
Friends may call on Thursday from 5-9 PM and one house before the services at the church.
Memorials may be made to the charity of the donors choice.
