Died.
Atkinson. - Died, in Drum Creek township, on July 10th, 1882, of typho-malaria, William Atkinson, aged about 52 years.
The deceased was an excellent Christian gentleman, who for 36 years had lived a consistent life. He was taken suddenly ill and never rallied from the effects of the disease. He leaves a wife and three children, who with a large circle of friends, mourn his loss. His aged father, and a sister from Illinois, were with him during the last days of his illness. On Sunday, Rev. T.S. Hunt conducted the funeral exercises, and a large concourse of friends attended the remains to the cemetery. The funeral sermon will be preached at the M.E. church next sabbath, at 11 a.m.
