Doug was born on July 26, 1967 to Douglas and Theresa Weisfeld Smith. In 1981, Doug was legally adopted by Joe A. Wiedemann. He graduated from Sheboygan Falls High with the Class of 1986.
Following his graduation, Doug enlisted with the United States Navy. He was honorably discharged in 1989.
On November 14, 1990 Doug married Bonnie Hester in Sheboygan.
He was a very dedicated worker, devoted husband, and loving father.
Survivors include his wife of 20 years, Bonnie; four children, Amber, Megan, Drew, and Nickolas; one grandson, Braydon; his parents, Joe and Theresa Wiedemann, St. Nazianz; two sisters, Dawn (Michael) Zoerner, Sheboygan and Eleanore Smith, Milwaukee; also nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his biological father, maternal and paternal grandparents.
The family will greet relatives and friends at the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home on Friday, June 25, 2010. Military Rites will be accorded by VFW Otto Oas Post 659.
