On September 8, 1976, EDWARD JAMES {WHITEY Brooks), of Curtis Bay, formerly of East Baltimore, beloved husband of Ida Byczynski (nee Aleksalza).
Devoted father of Mary Ann Patti, Lorraine Thompson, Ida Ryder, Edward, Richard and Raymond Byczynski.
Brother of Marie Leonard and Doris Dickerman.
Also survived by fifteengrandchildren.

Services held at the McCully Funeral Home of Curtis Bay, 4200 Pennington Avenue. A Mass of the Resurrection in St. Athanasius Church. Interment in Holy Cross Cemetery.

A Requiem Mass of Christan Burial for Edward J. Byczynski, a retired cutting-room supervisor for a clothing firm, will be offered at St. Athnasius Church, Church and Prudence Street, Curtis Bay.

Mr. Byczynski, 66 years old, lived at 4606 Virginia Avenue in Curtis Bay. He died in South Baltimoire General Hospital after a long illness.

At his retirement last February, he was working for the Butte Knit Corporation in Westminster, but has startwed working for predecessor firm, the Louis Marcus Corporation in 1922.

He was born and raised in East Baltimore, the son of Max and Anna Byczynski (nee Dombrowski), but had lived in Curtis Bay for the past 45 years.
He was president of the Democratic Club and was an usher and member of the Holy Name Society at St. Athanasius Church.

In his spare time, he enjoyed both playing and coaching an amateur basketball team named the Falcons.
