Stanley J. (Stan) Wallison, age 90, died June 25, 2010.

Stan served honorably in the U.S. Navy during WWII and received the American Theater Ribbon and Victory Medal.

He retired from Chrysler after 28 years.

He was an avid bowler, golfer and loved the casinos. He will be dearly missed by all.

Loving husband of Mary.

Father of Robert (Mary) Wallison, Carolyn (Ken) Bennett, Dennis Wallison, Beverly (Tony) April; grandfather of Mike (Pam), Debra, John, Adrienne (Walter), Matthew (Teresa), Joseph (Jennifer), Damon (Amanda), Larry (Margaret), Brittany and Brooke.

Loving brother of Jean Czarnecki, Lucille Matelonek, Viola Wasenski and Lorraine Shekoski.

Predeceased by wife, Mary; daughter-in-law, Mary; daughter, Carolyn; grandson, Damon; sister, Jean; and sister, Viola.

Also survived by many loving great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Sunday 3-9 p.m. with a Scripture Service at 7 p.m. at Walter Scott Skupny Funeral Home, 28605 Gratiot Avenue, 2 blocks south of 12 Mile.

Additional visitation will be Monday 12 noon until time of Funeral Mass 12:30 p.m. at St. Athanasius Church, 18720 13 Mile Road.

Burial will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Detroit.
