COMMENTS: In her Last Will and Testament, dated 10 Mar 1881, Anzelena Root states:

SECOND: I will and direct that my Executor use sufficient funds of my estate to purchase a monument and place the same at the place of my mother now deceased and that of my brother now deceased and in this connection it's my will that I be buried by the side of my mother and brother in Aspen Grove Cemetery and that said monument be suitable to my condition in life the cost of the same to be determined by my Executor.

Anzelena had five brothers according to census records: Stephen (b. about 1827), Thomas (b. about 1831), Adolphus Miles (b. about 1831), Buell (b. about 1834) and Martin Luther (b. Oct 1837). Buell was killed during the Civil War in 1862 and is believed to be buried in the Confederate Cemetery at Fayetteville, Washington County, AR. Adolphus Miles died in Dec 1892 (after Anzelena's will was written) and Martin Luther died in Jan 1923. Two brother's are not accounted for and this would be Stephen and Thomas, we have not been able to track beyond Jun 1860 (US Census). It is assumed that the brother buried in Aspen Grove Cemetery at the writing of her will was Stephen.
