My Precious husbnad was a Godly man, a wonderful husband and father. He was a very smart, kind and
generous. He graduated with the best grades in Beaumont
High School, Rice University, and Baylor Medical
School. When he was in Medical school he
was a member of AOA medical fraternity, which
was only for those students with The Best Grades.
After he graduated from medical school he enlisted
in the army and served in Korea. On his free time
there he volunteered at the Korean orphanage,
and received a commendation from the Korean
Government for his service.
Once he came back to Texas he had a private practice
for a number of years, and then went to work for The
University Of Texas Medical School. At the medical
school he taught medical students and saw patients
who had nerve problems, paralysis, amputations,
and stroke. He fitted an old man at the VA hospital
with a new prosthesis (leg). He asked the old man for
the home made prosthesis, which he was happy to donate
Demitri gave it to the Smithsonian Museum in Washington D.C. Where it is displayed.
