Jim cane to the United States through Ellis Island, all alone at age 15. He went to Mobile Alabama to live with his aunts brother in law and learned the restaurant business. Going to night school, he learn the English language. He met my mother in-law, Rose in Mobile. After they married they worked to provide for their family opening several cafe's in Beaumont.
