-Rock Hill, SC - Mrs. Cora Bell Totherow Allman 78, of 127 Murrah Dr., died Thursday, September 4, 1997 at Magnolia Manor.
-Born February 9, 1919 in York County, Mrs. Allman was the daughter of the late William Addison and Texie Anna Gregory Totherow. She was a retired owner/operator of Grandma's Country Kitchen.
-The funeral ceremony will be held 3 p.m. Saturday, September 6, 1997 at the Cauthen Funeral Home, Rock Hill Chapel with Revs. Lewis Vehaun and Mike Lowery officiating. Burial will be at Forest Hills Cemetery.
-Surviving are three sons, John V. Allman, Jr., M. Mack Allman, and Dennis L. Allman, all of Rock Hill; two daughters, Hilda Gilson of Leland, NC and Mary A. Workman of Rock Hill; sister, Cloe Moody of Rock Hill; seventeen grandchildren; twenty-four great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
-The family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. Friday, September 5, 1997 at Cauthen Funeral Home, Rock Hill Chapel and other times at the home of Mack Allman, 1443 Clairmont Street.
