Passed away in Cardston, on Sunday, March 2nd, 1986, MILTON MAGRATH MERRILL, at the age of 86 years, beloved husband of Marian D. Merrill of HillSpring.
Magrath was born in Magrath on February 11th, 1900. He was the first baby boy born in Magrath and was named after that town.
He was predeceased by his first wife, Ina Burr Merrill in 1971; three daughters, Beryl Harker, Flora Lenz, Linda Smith; one son, Robert Allan McCormack (infant); six brothers and sisters, Jehzell Hendrickson, Gwen Tanner, John Foster Merrill (infant), Booth Merrill, Emma Merrill (child) and Donald Merrill.
Besides his loving wife Marian he is survived by eight children, J.B. (Ladene) Merrill of HillSpring, Don (Dorothy) Merrill of HillSpring, Maxine (Gary) James of Sydney, Australia, Reed (Janet) Merrill of Calgary, Mark (Rachel) Merrill of HillSpring, Laurel (Richard) Leavitt of Long Mont, Colorado, Richard (Shari) McCormack of Surrey, B.C. and Joan Ritchie of Kelowna, B.C.; 48 grandchildren; 59 great-grandchildren and four sisters, Sarah Tanner, Florence Nielson, Laura Wight and Edith Jackson.
