David Alfred Adams, 73, of Chattanooga, TN died on Saturday, June 26, 2010. Born and raised in Portland, OR, he was an U. S. Army Veteran and a retired bus driver. He was involved in prison ministry in Oregon. Coming to Chattanooga, TN three years ago, he enjoyed bowling and working in his yard. He attended Silverdale Baptist Church.
Surviving are his wife, Janet Adams; daughter, Victoria Bordelon and her husband Jeremy of Chattanooga, TN; brother, Vernon Adams of Gilroy, CA; sisters, Alice Parks, Frances Remmers and Mary Brown, all of Beaverton, OR.
A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, June 30, 2010 in Chattanooga National Cemetery with Amos J. Easter officiating.
Memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Chattanooga, 4411 Oakwood Drive, Chattanooga TN 37416.
Arrangements are by Turner Funeral Home, Highway 58 Chapel, Chattanooga, TN.
