Garfield. May 22 (Special) - - - Mrs. George A. Conner died suddenly at her home here last Wednesday evening. Mrs. Conner seemed to have been in very good health, but while she was doing a few chores about her home she fell in the floor. Mr. Conner heard his wife fall and rushed to her and in a few moments she was dead. Mrs. Conner was 65 years old. She was born July 8, 1859 in Grayson County, Kentucky, being the daughter of Frank and Sarah Beatty. She professed religion at Old Liberty in 1895 but never united with any church. Surviving are her husband and six children. Two daughters, Mrs. Oscar Bramlette, of Rosetta; Mrs. Byron Priest, of Custer; four sons Owen Conner, Wallace Conner and Walker Conner, of Garfield, and Ova Conner, of Iowa. Funeral services were held at Bethel Thursday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock conducted by Rev. A. E. Bailey and burial in the Bethel Cemetery.
