FUNERAL SERVICES FOR MARY LOUISE DYCHE WILL BE CONDUCTED AT 1:00 PM SATURDAY AT HOUSE-RAWLINGS FUNERAL HOME WITH BRO. JEFF LEWIS OFFICIATING.
BURIAL WILL FOLLOW IN THE A.R. DYCHE MEMORIAL PARK.

LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. — Mary Louise Dyche was born Nov. 23, 1927, the seventh child of Dr. Robert Wesley Dyche and Marguerite Fish Dyche of London. She was educated at London High School and Sue Bennett College. Mary Louise was a long-time employee of Kentucky Utilities, retiring in the early 1990s. She was active in the Business and Professional Women's Club, holding various offices in the club. She was a proficient typist. Mary Louise was especially fond of her trips to Italy and Puerto Rico.

Raised in the Assembly of God church on West Fifth Street in London, she was associated with Carmichael Community Church. Mary Louise was a long-time resident of West Seventh Street, where she enjoyed being neighbors with Jess and Roberta Doane, "Little Bob" and Ella Dyche, Matthew and Lottie Parker, Dr. Sam Tyree, Boyd and Leticia Taylor, and Gilbert Clay and Ruth Weaver.

Mary Louise was preceded in death by her parents, and by brothers John William Dyche, Harold Fish Dyche R. W. Dyche Jr. of London, and sisters Emma Elizabeth Knight of McKee, Dorothy Marguerite Thompson of Edmonton, and Mina Bess Daniels of London.

She is survived by her sister, Helen Vertrees of Naples, Fla., and many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews, who fondly call her "Aunt Weesie." She loved and spoiled each of them as if they were her own children. Her beloved poodle, Chrissie, also survives.

The family of Mary Louise Dyche will receive visitors at the House-Rawlings Funeral Home from 4 to 6 p.m. today (Friday, June 25) and from 11 a.m. until the funeral hour at 1 p.m. Saturday, June 26.

Memorial gifts may be made to the Laurel Heights Shelter House Fund.
