SHELTON -- Jean Marie Blanchard, 59, died peacefully in her home in Shelton on April 19, 2006. The daughter of Fred Boettger and Clara Marie Stauffer, she was born July 16, 1946, in Seattle. She grew up and lived a good portion of her life in the Seattle area.
In 1984, she and her second husband, Lloyd Ray Blanchard, moved to Naselle. There they owned and operated the L&M Garage in Grays River for many years. They were involved in the community and loved living in the Naselle-Grays River area.
Mrs. Blanchard moved to Shelton in 2005 to be closer to her family.
Survivors include her son, Thomas Boettger of Shelton, a stepson, Marshall Blanchard and family of Naselle and many friends and extended family. She will be dearly missed.
She will be interred at Little Falls Cemetery in Vader. A memorial for friends and family will be held in July.
