Burdick was born in the town of
Lincklaen, N. Y„ Aug. 27, 1877. On
Nov. 29, 1895, she was married to
George Baldwin, who passed on seven
years ago. For the past 32 years
Mrs. Baldwin had lived in this town
and had spent much of her time
aside from her household duties fin
caring for the sick.

For the past year she had been in
failing health and had been tenderly
eared fir at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Floyd Pforter, until she
wag taken to the Cortland Hospital
the Monday preceding her death.
She passed away at the Hospital
Saturday evening, Sept. 6th.
The funeral conducted by Smith's
funeral service was held at the home
of Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Pforter Tuesday afternoon, Sept. 9th, and was
attended by a large number of relatives and friends. Rev. Floyd Terwilliger of Willet officiated and burial was made in Lincklaen Center
cemetery.
Surviving are one daughter, Mrs.
Floyd Pforter, one grand-daughter,
Mrs. Floyd Randall, and one grandson, Wesley G. Pforter, also five
grandchildren and.several nieces and
nephews.
