A 1922 newspaper article covering competition at the Kewaunee Fair, shows that my father entered a tie rack and medicine cabinet he built and took a 1st and 2nd place.
I remember as a little boy watching him repair a window, I probably broke it, and how proud I was that he know how to do.
He worked with his father-in-law as a barber and then started his own barbershop on Appleton street. In the late 1950's he moved his shop to East College Avenue.....Note from his son, with Thanks...
He and his wife were married 21 May 1929 and divorced 13 June 1959.
