Herbert T Kano
Herbert Theodore "Herb" Kano, 88, of Olivehurst, died Oct. 19, 1995, at his residence.
Born in Taylor, Texas, he was a Yuba-Sutter resident since 1939. He worked as a superintendent with Lemon Construction Co. for 30 years.
Survivors include his wife, Geneva Kano of Olivehurst; two daughters, Carol Canfield and Mickey Kano, both of Sacramento; a stepson Alvin Allen of Olivehurst; three sisters, Grace Clark, Flora Machmer and Esther Curtis, all of Phoenix, Ariz.; and two grandsons.
The family suggests memorials to the Alzheimer's Society of Northern California, P. O. Box 1824, Sacramento, Calif. 95812
SERVICES: A memorial service is scheduled at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Lipp and Sullivam Chapel. The Rev. George Bunkhorst of the First Free Will Baptist Church of Olivehurst will officiate. Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday and from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday at the chapel. Burial will be in Sierra View Memorial Park.
