Theodore Klish, 91, 416 Hill St., Mayfield, died Thursday at the Osprey Ridge Skilled Nursing Center, Carbondale. He was the husband of the former Eva Kitchura, who died Sept. 10, 1964. Born Jan. 18, 1906, in Eastern Europe, son of the late Mark and Julia Shepsky Klish, he was a member of St. John the Baptist Russian Orthodox Church, Mayfield, where he was a member of the choir for more than 50 years. He formerly worked in the area mining industry, and prior to retirement was employed by the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Frances Fuerneisen and Anna Kitchura, and two brothers, John and Andrew. The funeral will be Monday with a requiem service at 9:30 am in St. John the Baptist Russian Orthodox Church, Hill Street, Mayfield, by the Very Rev. Mitered Archpriest John Sorochka. Interment, parish cemetery, Mayfield. Friends may call Sunday, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Ryczak-Harrison Funeral Home Inc., 901 Lackawanna Ave., Mayfield. Parastas will be at 3 p.m. Transferral of the body will be at 9 p.m.
