Mr. James H. Quinn, age 48, of 623 N. 2nd St., Platteville, passed away Thursday at his home, following a heart attack. Mr. Quinn was born in Kendall Township, Lafayette County, Wis., Oct. 6, 1912. He was a resident of Platteville for 19 years, and a former resident of Darlington. He was a Tire Salesman for Montgomery Ward Store in Platteville.
Mr. Quinn was a member of St. Mary's Catholic church of Platteville; a member of Knights of Columbus Lodge No. 1388, Platteville; a member of the Elks Lodge No 1460, BPOE, Platteville and a member of Platteville Fire Departement.
Survivors are his wife, the former Katherine McDonald; six daughters, Eileen Quinn, Madison, Marilyn, Joanne, Rosemary, Helen and Carol Quinn, all at home; four sons, Joseph Quinn, Chicago, Dale, Donald and Robert Quinn, all at home; his mother, Mrs. Catherine Quinn of Benton; one sister, Mrs. Louis Mavissen, St. Croix Falls, Wis.; three brothers, Edward Quinn, Benton, Eugene Quinn, Janesville, and William Quinn, Darlington.
Funeral services were held Saturday morning at 9:30 in St. Mary's church. Burial was made in Kendalltown ceemtery, East of Belmont, Wis.

Funeral services will be held at 9:30 am Saturday in St. Mary's Catholic Church, Platteville.
A madison survivor is a daughter, Miss Eileen Quinn.
