Funeral services for Mrs. Sara O'Neal Anderson, 81, whose death occurred at her residence 208 Jeff Davis Street at 10:40 A.M. yesterday after an Illness of three months will be held in the chapel of Harts Mortuary at 6:00 P.M., today. Rev. W. L. Sutton and Rev. J. Fran Snell will officiate and interment will be in Riverside Cemetery.
Pallbears are to be J. L. Edwards, G. W. Fountain, J.B. Sandifer, E. H. Warren, E. M. Jennings and A. C. Durden.
Mrs. Anderson was born in Monroe County, May 14, 1853, the daughter or Griff O'Neal and Mrs. Eve Sullivan O'Neal but had made her home in Macon for 34 years. She was a Charter member of the Corinth Primitive Baptist Church. Her husband, the late F. M. Anderson, was, a Confederate veteran. Survivors are three daughters Mrs. W. B. watts and Mrs. J. A. Stephens, Atlanta; Mrs. Evelyn Anderson, Macon; four sons, C. G., G. E. and H Anderson, Macon, and J. L. Anderson, Perry; 13 grandchildren and three great grandchildren, one sister, Mrs. Mattie Clements, Yatesville.
