MrHitz was born in PolkCity & had lived there and in the Alleman area 88yrs before moving to Madrid Home 5 years ago. He was a retired farmer. Survivors include a son: Arthur-Polk City; a dau: Deanna Stuart-Ankeny; 4 grand-children & 4 gr-grandchildren. Friends may call today at Ankeny Funeral Home. Services will be Saturday afternoon at Salem United Church of Christ in Alleman of which he was a mem-ber. Burial will be at Lincoln Cemetery there. Memorial contributions may be made to his church.
