Mrs. Wilda Alice Beatty, 84, died yesterday at 9 p.m. at her home, 609 W. Market Street, Jeffersonville. She was the widow of Joseph Clay Beatty. Mrs. Beatty who had lived in Jeffersonville most of her life, was a member of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Garfield, Kentucky. She is survived by four sons, Rena (Bill) Beatty, Jess Beatty and Arthur Beatty, all of Jeffersonville, and Franklin Beatty, Caseyville, Illinois; four daughters, Mrs. Charles Gillenwater and Miss Mildred Beatty, both of Jeffersonville, and Mrs. Raymond Moser, and Mrs. Mary Maines, both of Scottsburg; a sister, Miss Rosa Priest, Irvington, Kentucky; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. The body was taken to the Memorial Mullineaux Funeral home here.
