A Memorial Tribute
Resolutions of Respect in Memory of Reba J. Snyder

"Wait for us dear sister, by the side of the way,
Til we come out of life at the close of the day,
Then we take up together with you and a smile,
The tasks we have dropped and lost awhile."

Death is the gateway to a higher life
A life much broader than one we can see
A volume grand, rewritten and revised of
What we are and what we ought to be.

The chain of life has been broken
We are saddened by the loss of our dear sister
Friendly, Neighborly, Kind and Helpful
To those with whom she came in contact along life's way.

Whereas the Heavenly Father hath called our Beloved Sister to a Perfect rest,
Where happily she has heard the signal of her release
On the bells of the Holy City, the Chimes of eternal Peace.

Resolved--
That in token of our love and respect for Sister Reba, the Charter of Wabash Rebekah Lodge No. 65
Be draped in mourning for thirty days,
a copy of these resolutions be sent to the family of the deceased and
a copy be spread on the minutes of our Lodge and a copy be sent to Virginian Leader for publication.
