He was born in Allegheny county, Pennsylvania, in 1850, and came to Iowa with is parents in 1851. Here in Taylor county he has grown to manhood (page 728) and received his education. In 1871 he married Miss Elsie Warner, of Battle Creek, Michigan. They have two children: George B. and Jas. P. In 1877 he emigrated to Sumner county, Kansas, where he settled on a farm, and remained nearly three years. He then rented his farm and returned to this county, locating on his present farm of 280 acres. Mr. Flick is a man of energy, and will make a success of life.
