William Emmon Rose, 85, of Mt. Morris, a retired farmer, died in his home at 10:50 Wednesday, June 11, 1952, following an illness of three weeks.

A son of the late S. H. and Malinda Pride Rose, the deceased was born Feb. 27, 1867 at Mt. Morris.

Mr. Rose was twice married. His first wife, Eva Fox Rose, died in 1920. On Nov. 24, 1924, he married Mary Huston, who survives, with one foster son, Virgil C. Robey of Mt. Morris, and one sister, Mary Belle Haines of Mt. Morris.
