James Albert Pichot, age 82, passed away Monday, April 28. 2008 after a short illness. He was born in Uvalde, Tx., to Fannie and Jim Betts Pichot on September 21, 1925. He served as a Sergeant in the Marines in WWII. For over 50 years, he worked as a master mechanic at Tindall & Park Pontiac. Since retiring in 1990 he became a full time handyman and tinkerer and proud Granddad. He was preceded in death by his brother, Edgar Pichot and sister Ronda Gillman. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Wilhemina "Willie" Pichot; sons Claude Pichot and wife Cherry, Mark Pichot; daughter, Carol Rogers and husband Byron; grandchildren, Austin, Travis Pichot and wife Chrissy, Rachelle and Lance Rogers and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Visitation on Thursday May 1, 2008 and Funeral Services Friday May 2,2008 with the Rev. Robert W. Ruie officiating at the Northwest Funeral Home on Bandera Road. Interment followed at the Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery with Military Honors.
