CLAUDE M. BACHMAN, LONG BANK EMPLOYE, DIES AT BLODGETT
CLAUDE M. BACHMAN, 52, 140 Fuller ave., SE., discount teller in the Old National bank, with which he had been associated for 33 years, died Thursday morning at Blodgett Memorial hospital following several days of ill health. He suffered a stroke of apoplexy, which with complications caused his death.
Born in Grand Rapids, Mr. Bachman remained a resident all his life. He was graduated from Union high school, soon after entering the employ of the Old National bank in 1891. For a period of 33 years Bachman rendered various services at the bank.
Surviving Bachman are his widow; five sons, CLIFFORD, RICHARD, ROBERT, GORMAN and WILLIAM; his mother, MRS. WILLIAM H. BACHMAN; a brother, FRANK E., and a sister, MRS. FRANK R. GARRISON of Chicago.
