Dale D Stevens, 66, of 601 4th Ave, NW Altoona, died of a heart attack Friday at Iowa Methodist Medical Center. Services will be at 11:00 AM Tuesday at Community Reformed Church in Newton, of which he was a member. Burial will be at Newton Union Cemetery.
Mr. Stevens was born in Centerville and had lived in Newton many years, moving to Altoona in 1988. He was the retired president of Dale Stephens Home Builders, Inc, and a member of the National Home builders Association.
Survivors include his wife, Helen;2 sons, Kevin of Cedar Rapids and Kurtis of Valrico, Fla; a daughter, Kim Westfield of Geneseo Ill; a brother, Dwight of Altoona; three sisters, Agnes Stubbs of Altoona, Ida Specht of Marshalltown and Bertha McCoy of Centerville; and 2 grandchildren.
The family will greet friends from 6:30 to 8:00 PM today at Wallace-Pence Funeral Home in Newton. Memorial contributions may be made to his church.
