Anna E. 'Betty' Eger, 73, Duncansville died Sat., July 3, 2010 at home. She was born in Altoona, daughter of Vera Leota Brown and was raised by her grandparents, Lorenzo and Edith Brown. She was twice married, first to Lester Campbell Sr., who died in 1963, and then to Andrew B. Eger on Aug. 29, 1966. Surviving are her husband of nearly 44 years; 3 daughters: Betty Ann Houck & Michelle 'Mick' Eger, both Duncansville, and Sarah R. Thompson, Huntingdon; 4 sons: Lester L.E. Campbell, Jr., Duncansville; Charles A. Campbell & wife, Lupe, Devine, Texas; George J. Eger, Duncansville and Andrew C. Eger & wife, Malynda, Rydal, GA; 15 grandchildren; 9 gr. grandchildren; sister, Irma Detwiler, Loysburg and brothers: Carl Brown & William Beck, both Altoona. Predeceased by brothers, John Brown and Roy Beck. Mrs. Eger was a 1994 graduate of Hollidaysburg Area High School. Betty was a member of St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, Duncansville.
