Ms. Doris N. Bonds of Huntington, Arkansas, died Sunday, July 4, 2010, at her home. She was 79 years, 10 months, and 1 day old. Ms. Bonds grew up in Huntington, and later moved to California, where she spent most of her adult life. It was thee she met Joe Bonds and the two were married. They moved back to Arkansas to raise there 3 children. She was a faithful member of the Huntington United Methodist Church; and served for several years as its Treasurer.
Ms. Bonds was a good cook and loved spending time with family and friends. She also enjoyed collecting antiques; and quilting.
Ms. Bonds is survived by her dear husband: Joe Bonds; a daughter: Jennifer Garner; and other family members and dear friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents and 1 son: Paul Bonds.
Funeral services were held on Friday, July 9, 2010, at McConnell Funeral Home Chapel in Greenwood, Arkansas. She was laid to rest at Huntington Cemetery in Huntington, Arkansas.
