He could truthfully say with (...) I have fought the good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith. Funeral services were held at his home-church by his beloved pastor, Rev. J. E. We have lost our dear old father.
He had bid us all adeiu;
He has gone to live in Heaven.
And his form has passed from view.
Oh that dear one, how we loved him.
Oh, how hard to give him up.
But an angel came down for him
And removed hum from our flock.
ONE WHO LOVED HIM"
