Bessie Lydia Boom born in Hickory Grove, Wis., Nov. 13, 1881, married to Robert Addison May 25, 1896, at Montfort, Wis., died Aug. 4, 1918, at her home in Benton.
She leaves to mourn her loss a loving husband and seven daughters namely, Bernice, Myrtle, Lois, Hannah, Elaine, Roberta and Wilda, a father and mother, five sisters, and four brothers, numerous other relatives and friends.
Mrs. Addison's life has been full of home devotion and sacrifice to her family. She was always a kindly neighbor and will be greatly missed by all.
The funeral services were held at the ME Church Tuesday afternoon at 2:30, Rev. J.I. Sainty officiating.

Addison and Mrs. Cora Freeman of Walnut Grove, Minn., Mr. and Mrs. Jas. Addison of Lancaster, Mr. and Mrs. Walt Addison of Montfort, Mr. and Mrs. Lancelot Scadden of Hazel Green, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Scadden of Hazel Green, Mr. and Mrs. Lester Grebe of Bloomington, Mr. and Mrs. Lyman Sawyer of Bloomington, Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Sawyer of Lancaster and Mr. Frank Cooley of Lancaster.
