Friday morning, August 24, 1945, at her home. No 3. Hanover Street, Mrs. Emma Williams, age 73 years. Survived by daughters, Mrs. Onzo Spiva, Mrs. Frank Holmes, Mrs. Lester Jenkins, and Mrs. Roy Lowe of this city; Mrs. V.G. McCormick and Mrs. T.G. McNish of Hermitage, Tennessee; sons, Dave and John Williams of this city; Sam and Bill Williams of Donelson, Tennessee, and Fred Williams of the U.S. Marines; sister, Mrs. B. Jones, Hendersonville, Tennessee, Mrs. Mattie Bradford of Lebanon, Tennessee; brothers, David and Sherman Stockton of Dixon Springs, Tennessee, and Henry Stockton of Tullahoma, Tennessee; 43 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Remains are at her home as above. Services will be held Monday morning, August 27, 1945 at 10:00 at the River Side Church of Christ, conducted by Brother E.G. Cullum. Grandsons serve as pallbearers. Interment in Spring Hill Cemetery. Bracey-Welsh Co.
